Education and knowledge-sharing form an integral part of Chafa Ghaddar’s artistic practice. Rooted in her exploration of fresco and surface-based techniques, her teaching extends these concerns into dialogue transforming classrooms and workshops into spaces of material discovery, experimentation, and exchange.
Over the past years, she has developed a teaching practice across leading art institutions in the UAE, including NYU Abu Dhabi, Istituto Marangoni Dubai, The Arts Club Dubai, and Tashkeel Studios, among others. Through courses, residencies, and public programs, Ghaddar encourages artists and students to reflect on process, time, and the tactile relationship between material and memory.
Her workshops and academic collaborations merge theory and making, from fresco and pigment-based techniques to experimental drawing and interdisciplinary research, fostering an approach to art education grounded in curiosity, craftsmanship, and critical thought.
